In between rain showers, I spotted this boar renovating the pasture. POI between left shoulder and the ear, quartering away. 123 SST 28.0gr ArComp at 35 yds. No exit wound, and I had to stand on him to get blood out of the tiny entrance wound. He was so busy I probably could have walked up and shot him with a pistol. One more not to put up with.

Thanks for posting gwtx but 35 yards is pistol distance if thatÂ’s all you have with you.

I agree with bfilbey, I've taken jackrabbits at 100+ yards with a 44 loaded to less than 44 Special velocities. (That was more than a few years back.)
Do more shooting with both rifle and pistol!

Excellent. Finally seeing some hogs here, but ground is so hard (barely any rain in 40+ days) that they leave little sign behind other that poop.
Kill a hog. Save the planet.
