FWIW, I ended up pulling the trigger on one of the newer PA SLX 3 Micro-Prism sights with the ACSS Raptor 5.56/308 and the reticle it exponentially better, more useful and easier for me to focus at the tip of the chevron at 3X than 1X! At least for my 62 yr old aging eyes!
Still would rather just have a simple dot as the primary aiming point with these low power optics. The chevron would be a great alternative with high mag, FFP scopes but you almost never see them there! |
