16" Carbine, E.R. Shaw chrome lined 1:9 barrel. Free-floated handguard, trigger action job with about a short3# pull with no creep, 1.5-4 Millett scope on 4x. 50 yards off a benchrest. On the downside I am almost 75 years old, eyes not that good, hold not that steady. However, all ammo was fired by the same old man, same hardware under the same conditions. Was hot today in the desert with the afternoon sun blazing down and I really didn't want to be there LOL. I could probably do better under better conditions. Interestingly the only one with a flier is the Wolf but that is what I tend to get with Wolf, a few rounds pretty good and then one goes off. I don't think it was me as all the other groups are very consistent with no fliers. I measured with a machinist's 6" precision scale under a lighted magnifier. BTW, POA was on dead center. Hope this helps some new to the fabulous 6.5 Grendel.

My Conclusion: PPU 110 or 120, Hornaday Frontier or Black all within 1/8" at 50 yards. Using my rifle for self-defense or recreational shooting I will buy whatever I can get at the best price among these. Right now that is Hornaday Frontier 123 FMJ which I just picked up 600 rounds of for 60 cents per. I am not paying $1.00+ a round for shooting in my rifle for my purposes. In fact I rather rapid fired about 30 rounds of Wolf at 50 yards the other day, same rifle, and the group was about 2" at 50 yards so other than a tad dirty Wolf will serve it's purpose for homeland security duty.

Wolf 100 gr.FMJ: two good ones with a flier, 1 5/8"
PPU 110 gr. BT FMJ: 3/4"
PPU 120 gr. BT HP: 7/8"
Hornaday Frontier 123 gr. FMJ: 5/8"
Hornaday Black 123 gr. ELD Match: 7/8"

I can do better with the Wolf but I wanted to shoot three rounds with each and let the chips fall where they may.

Got a feeling a better scope on the rifle a guy might get 1" at 100 yards with the Hornady Frontier. The barrel came from Doublestar/J&T Distributing in KY. They said it was made by E.R. Shaw but it isn't marked E.R. Shaw but 1 MOA out of a chrome lined GI type barrel for $150 is pretty good in my book.

I have a good Burris 3-9 Signature made in CO on an ARMS quick-detach mount I can put on there, I will have my grandson try that at 100 yards someday.
