Thoughts on BCA barrel.

In 6.5gr i have been disappointed with bca and moved on also.
I have 2 20" 223 wilde from bca(stoner) and they are great so i thought no problem in the 6.5gr, i was wrong and spent to much time trying to make them work.
As stated above life is to short.

No amount of lapping can make a BCA similar to a better barrel in terms of machining quality.

You can't hand work gouges out of a precise bore, they would have to be filled first, which is basically impossible.

I am not saying that a BCA cannot shoot well. I have seen a mosin with a rotted bore from corrosive ammo shoot quite well. It is just much less likely that it will be very accurate and consistent.

There are definitely some great shooting BCAs out there.
