Just finished my first-ever AR-15 build. I built on a Sharp's Bros Hellbreaker Gen II lower. The upper is a DTT Customs "Javelin" - Aero Precision upper, 18" HBAR stainless barrel with a 1:8 twist, 15" Trinity Force keymod handguard, Magpul PRS Gen III stock, and a Vortex Strike Eagle scope. Not pictured is the Atlas bipod that was added last night.
I haven't shot it yet. Hopefully this weekend. I want to bore-sight the scope first, and give it a good lube-job.

Agreed! Saturday will be the day, most likely. I'm not sure if this happens to everyone, but since this is my first build, there is a part of me that will be hoping everything is correct as I start to pull the trigger. ;-)
It passed all the function checks. I'm waiting on some dummy rounds to arrive so I can test it with some actual (inert) ammo. I'd rather be aware of a problem before I put live rounds through it and risk having it blow-up in my face.
I'll let you guys know how it shoots. I have 160 rounds of Hornady Black 123 gr. just itching go downrange.
I know the feeling. I've built a Grendel as my 2nd AR and it's been done for a month. Still haven't shot it! I'll be doing so soon enough. Deer season is here! Good luck
