Crux suppressor on the way

I have been reading and considering a suppressor and want to know more about Crux Saxon. The description describes a reflex design. And a max reduction of-34 to -40 dbl. What is everyone’s opinion on these? Please offer suggestions if you feel another brand is better. For a AR15, 6.5 Grendel 20”, SLR adjustable GB used for target and hunting.

Given you use an AR setup I think you are better off with a 30cal can. The 6.5 cans are to efficient for the AR system. So I've heard.

When I called thundered arms, they told me they tested the cans at shooters ear with an ar and the 6.5 can was A couple decibels quieter than the 30 Cal

My dealer called me Friday and said my stamp and can are waiting for pickup anytime. I think it'll be 2 weeks before I can get there. Had a death in the family and have to travel on my b days off. Oh well it -15 degrees today. Too cold to have fun shooting.

Still waiting on my Howard Grendel to get threaded but used it on my AR with light weight bolt carrier and adjustable gas block. Very efficient even with 223. Quite then my buddies thunderbeast of same size. Or at least tone was better. I'm no expert

Well after a long wait and three tries to get the barrel threaded (two smith's sat on it when I dropped it off) it is done and complete. All I can say after shooting it is "WOW". The Grendel is quite than the Creedmoor by a noticeable bit. That's my Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel with a Crux 6.5 Saxon vs a RPR 6.5 Creedmoor with a Thunderbeast 6.5 Ultra7. My buddy agreed with me after switching back and forth between each others. We also tried them on our AR15s which are almost identical and again the Crux sounded better. Now YMMV but I'm happy and would buy again. Especially now that Silencershop.Com sells the Crux. They make a purchase so so easy. Anyways just wanted to update you all now go buy a suppressor (any kind d) for crying out loud.

Long story short. After a few setbacks the Mini is now threaded and shooting suppressed. Tested my Crux 6.5 Saxon with the Howa Grendel and AR vs a ThunderBeast 6.5 Ultra7 on a RAR 6.5 Creedmoor and AR. I thought it sounded better and after my buddy and I switched guns, positions and tried them on equal ARs, he also agreed. Now to be fair, it was close and like most suppressors iv seen tested and witnessed, it is all perception. All in all I'm happy and it shoots fantastic

I have a Crux Ark30 XD. I haven’t had time to take it out and test though. Been so busy at work and with family I’ve got very little done.

I ordered my can a long time ago, but they had to redo it. They had a bad batch (years ago) that got laser engraved too deep and they cracked. They owned up to it fast and hooked me up though. Even tossed in an extra muzzle brake mount.

Bad part is: An extra muzzle brake is like having a black rifle seed. It wants to grow into another rifle.
