Repeal the 2A

Last time I checked it takes 2/3=34 states to vote to overturn an amendment to the Constitution. I'm pretty confident that we have 17 States in this Representative Republic that will NEVER vote to repeal 2A.

There is no need to be rude if I am dismissive of the anti-gun rhetoric you have posted. It is my opinion and I am entitled to it. I mean, if you claim you are not making a point by posting the link then why get upset at anyone's opinion of an opinion?

First you irrationally accuse me of trying to make some point when -- as everyone else here clearly understood -- I was just sharing intel on an influential member of the anti-gun crowd, then you irrationally accuse me of being rude for simply noting a fact, and finally you irrationally insist that I got upset when I was not the least bit so.

However, in the future I shall be rude and not reply to your posts. It takes too much energy to respond to someone who, when I write "The sky is blue," unfathomably sees "Water is not wet."

P.S. I must compliment you on your avatar, though. It seems to be a perfect match.

Come on Stanc, I did not accuse you of making a point, I asked you what was your point in posting the link. I asked because you did not introduce or explain it. It's just a thread with a link, no words. Since then you've made it clear you're not making a point, just providing information. Well, if no member owns the idea it is less interesting to me. If you don't own the idea (or at least won't admit to owning the sentiment) then I feel less inclined to be polite about it. The link talks about an unlikely anti-gun hypothetical. I don't come here to debate unlikely anti-gun scenarios and with you at the helm ready to pact as our moral conscience it's just all too hard.

And another 2A Thread gets locked!

I have been following this one and like most, do not see the point in posting a thread proposing the repeal of the 2A simply because of the difficulty involved in getting it done. Not even the leftists think it can happen.

So I figured it was posted simply to start a bunch of arguments.

Guess I was right.
