Anyone got any trigger time behind the Silencer Co Omega or Gemtech One?

I do not know much about either one except for the specs.

Anyone own them or have some trigger time with em?

I have an Omega that I've run for a couple of years on a 300 Blackout and have nothing but good things to say about it. I'm in the process of building a Grendel now and with any luck will be putting some rounds through the Omega in another week or two. I only run the suppressor as a direct thread so I can't speak on the ASR mount functionality but really like the weight of the unit and option to change out the front end cap to get maximum suppression on various calibers.

Was able to dial in a load with 123gr ELD-M with the Omega can attached. I have it setup with the KYMO adapter so it attached to dead air brakes/flash hiders. Really like this conversion on it.

Johnny of Johnny's Reloading Bench has used the Silencer Co Omega on a few different guns for a couple of years. Don't know if he ever reviewed it but he shoots a couple hundred rounds a week through it and it seems to be working well. Find him on youtube and ask him about it.

MAC did several reviews on suppressors. If he ever get's his channel back up, do a search for them.

As far as first hand use of both, most people just get one or two and they are usually the same brand. I started my Omega journey back on 1/2017. Still waiting.

My Omega is still in NFA jail. 12 months - should be out soon. But I have shot it on my Grendel SBR and 14.5” 5.56. It is much more enjoyable to shoot running the can.

I bought an Omega for my 300 BLK SBR a couple of years ago and it's really nice with 300 BLK subsonic ammo. I built a 6.5 Grendel SBR recently and I've been using the Omega on it with great success. So far I've only shot Hornady Black ammo in the Grendel. Since Hornady Black ammo is not subsonic, I can hear the sonic crack downrange, but it's hearing safe without ears at the gun.

Right now, I am hunting with my Omega 2-3 times a week. I use the ASR quick detach mount, despite having had an issue of not cinching it down properly, once. Silencerco took good care of me and replaced the mount, no problem. The suppressor works well (better than most), is still considered light weight, and comes with multiple mount options. It is pricey, but it is a quality product made by a reputable company that stands behind their gear.

Omega here, haven't used it too much but is quality and light. I took off the muzzle brake portion to make it shorter and installed the flat plate. I haven't used the ASR mount just direct thread. I'll probably peddle them both.
