Shilen issue

I recently built a Grendel upper with a Shilen barrel, JP rifles BCG and adjustable gas system. I had FTE issues unless the gas was adjusted wide open. Shilen had me send them the whole upper for repairs anyone dealt with them on warranty stuff are they responsive and semi timely on getting your stuff done and back to you?

I'm kind of surprised Shilen is offering to help at all, to be honest. Kind of neat to hear.

That's interesting. The gunsmith working on a rifle for me said that the Shilen barrel he initially tried would string badly after a few shots. I had asked for a at least 2 MOA and the barrel wasn't even close. This is for an oddball rifle, though (a bull-barrel 7.62x39 on a Saiga semi-auto receiver). I wonder if Shilen is having quality issues?
