So my old man has a 20.5" Vepr in Grendel, his "Kawasaki" Howa mini in Grendel, and recently got in his 18" AA complete upper.
Watched as he broke it in today. It shot a easy half MOA group with Accurate 2520 under the 123 SMK. Even with the mid length gas and a hydraulic buffer, no adjustable has block it ejected neatly right at 3:30, looked to be no brass abuse. Have to say I was extremely impressed by this upper. Here is a photo, and I link to him shooting 9 rounds at 620 yards. All hits.

That one has a JP complete trigger. It is a single stage and much lighter than my SSA-E.
He actually loves the Vepr. He is waiting on a m4 stock adapter and after I'll post some pictures. He did a lot of work to the receiver to keep it from mangling the brass after ejection. I was surprised to see the groups it was capable of shooting though..

Never mind. I tried to take a video of me hitting the 1016 with my new Cream S'morecicle this afternoon. Propped the phone up horizontally with 2 sand bags on the bench. Hit 5 of 5. Picked up my phone and went behind the firing line to see if all the hits were audible ........ and watched a great video of me picking up my phone and walking behind the firing line to see if the hits were audible. Needless to say I went through a box of ammo but was unable to replicate. Thanks Nuggin! Sometimes portrait is better than nothing. So Kilco, keep on portraiting!
