will the Talley mounts work on the Howa mini action?

I am in the process of collecting the parts to build a bolt action Grendel. I have the barreled mini action and the Boyd's thumb hole stock on hand. I have a scope as well, but I'm thinking of getting a Vortex 6-24x50 PST FFP scope for it. However, not sure what rings to get as I don't want to mount a picatinny rail. Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Yes, I have installed Talley on the mini

If you're talking about the lightweight one piece aluminum mount/ring combo, you might like to know that Talley makes a specific set for these actions. The ones they make for Rem 700's will work, but the rear mount will hang over the ejection port a hair.
