I haven't quite made up my mind on a barrel for my Zastava M85. I read another forumite's post about another rifle he was building with polygonal rifling. Unfortunately that former member now signs in as a guest I suspect as a result of the hacker/server problem.
I'm no stranger to polygonal rifling as I've been shooting an HK pistol since the late 70's. Since reading that post I've seen there are several barrel makers offering polygonal rifling so I'm really looking for experiences or recommendations of one barrel maker over another.
Tell me your polygonal rifling story. Is anyone currently shooting a polygonal Grendel?

All the Black Hole Weaponry (BHW) barrels are polygonal. They use a .264 LBC reamer, and some members have been very happy with them.

I'm very happy with my bhw poly barrel. Cleans easy, slightly higher velocity and very accurate, only issue I've had is with barnes 120gr and 129gr gmx...they won't stabilize. Everything else shoots great

I believe Precision Firearms has started selling BHW barrels chambered with the SAAMI Spec Chamber. If you contact PF I'm sure Mark could probably set you up with that barrel set up for your rifle.
That being said, in a bolt action, the 264 lbc chamber wouldn't be a bad option (not to say that it ever is).
I understand Pac Nor does a 6.5 Grendel Match Chamber that might be conducive to a bolt action. I'd suggest looking into that too.

PacNor did an excellent job making my 20 Grendel barrel.
They might be able to tell you the difference between their match chamber and the SAAMI chamber.
