Isn't a .750 GB suppose to slide onto a .750 gas port area of the barrel? Can someone help me. My GB does not slide onto my barrel where the gas port is. Pics to follow.

We often have to hand fit them. You can also try heating the gas block, and freezing the barrel. Make sure you know your gas port location for each component, so you can align them center to center. Don't just go off the shoulder. I use the calipers as a protrusion gauge for the inside of the gas block, then measure the distance from the shoulder to the gas port on the barrel when determining my alignment. They aren't the same with all barrels or blocks.

"Slide" isn't the term I would use. It more of a "coercive action." They are usually pretty tight, but a little lube goes a long way.

Seekins gas blocks are a true "friction fit"! Wait until you have to take one off!

Ok, will try using lube if it doesn't work will probably just return it.

You want the gas block to be very tight to the journal. I prefer to Red loc-tite them so there isn't any leakage, and for accuracy. Heat the block in the oven at 350 F, freeze the barrel for 30-45 minutes. Use an oven glove when handling the block, and see if it will slide over. Tight is a good thing. If it slips on with ease, not so good.

LRRPF52 - I will try that method and see if it works if the lube method fails. Btw, where would you apply the loc-tite?

I apply the Loc-tite so that it seals the fit of the block to the journal, making sure none gets in the gas port.

LRRPF52,,,,If you use the red on the gas block, if something happens (to the gas tube) and you need to remove the GB do you need to use the propane flame or heat gun to heat it up so you can get it off?? or can you get it moving with your hands and then go from there?? BANG BANG!!
