Hey guys, I'm in a similar situation.

Not my first AR, but my first Grendel build. This is what's been ordered (should all arrive tomorrow)
Magpul UBR stock
Seekins precision lower
CMC flat bow 3.5 lb trigger
JP silent capture spring
2vets arms side charging upper w/ NiBor bolt carrier
JP supermatch 22" barrel with matching bolt, thermal dissipator and adjustable gas block
Seekins Precision ATC comp to match 5/8 x 24 threads
Unique AR hex handguard

I HAVEN't used one on a Grendel, but I love my ATC comp on my 5.56

I was wondering if anyone else here had experience with a JP barrel. I've seen a lot of liberty/satern/lilja barrels talked about, but no one with a JP...

Welcome. Plenty of people have had excellent results with JP 6.5 Grendel barrels, both for target and hunting. The thermal dissipator is really nice, and it actually works.
