Medium contour 18-20" midlength Cut-rifled SS barrel, who to go with?

I'll be in the market very soon for a new barrel for my Grendel AR-15. This time I want to go the cut-rifled route. Light-medium contour (maybe a fluted medium), SS 18-20". And obviously threaded at the muzzle (9/16-24 or 5/8-24).

Not really concerned with wait times unless it's over 6 months. Just really want it to be a tack driver, and would like to keep it under $550.

Unfortunately I'm not really familiar with who all does pre-fit 6.5 Grendel AR15 barrels anymore, so any advice is greatly appreciated.

My only advise would be to thread it 5/8-24.

+1 on 5/8x24. thats what i have coming from templar. much better selection of muzzle devices

Why thread it at all? Wouldn't a target crown be more appropriate for a tack driver?

I already have a WCI brake and it did not negatively affect accuracy on my current barrel. I trust with a proper barrel thread it will not on the new barrel. And of course if I ever got into suppressors the option is nice to have. I have a small lathe and can make my own thread protectors should I decide against a muzzle device.

That was always my thought also, but I have tested enough Krieger barrels with and without flash hiders on my Service Rifles that I now consider it a non factor. They all shoot .5MOA or better irrespective. I use a post ban (target crown) now on all my new barrels but that is simply to make the cleaning of the crown easier.
