Took it out for the first time last weekend. The rifle ran like a top after the gas block got dialed in. Practically no recoil at all. I was expecting a lot more noise and overpressure from the JP brake, but the noise was very tolerable and almost no overpressure. I forgot my bags when I left for the range so I was shooting off the bipod and a rolled towel I had in the back of the truck :p
I've got a lot of practice to do...I hadn't been behind a rifle in almost 8 years and I could feel some of my fundamentals were rusty. Not awkward, but not a natural as it used to be. Was a good outing though. Was running factory Hornaday A-Max.
I'm looking to upgrade the Burris 1-piece scope mount. Looking for something with 20moa that’s detachable. Any recommendations?

Nice looking rig...try a LaRue LT-158 (10 MOA) or LT-112 (20 MOA; watch eye relief). I have the LT-158 and LT-104.

Welcome. Nice balster for sure. If that's your rusty group, it will be great to see how it does when you get married to the gun. I personally like the LaRue LT-112.
