Vanguard vs GPO illuminated

G’day all,

Have decided on an illuminated reticle for the Howa mini.

The rifle will be for close range dawn, dusk and spotlight (legal here in Australia) for wild dogs, goat, pigs and fallow deer. 150m would be a long shot.

Two scopes I’m looking at are Vanguard Endeavour 2-8x32 and GPO 1.5-9x32.

In Au’s the GPO will be more than double the price.

I’m happy to pay more - but if the Vanguard is acceptable I’d like to save some $’s

Anyone with real world experience?

Very hard to get a look through either as the Vanguard will have to be purchased from an interstate dealer and the GPO from overseas or interstate.

Never played with their rifle scopes. I have used their binos, spotting scopes, tripods and shooting sticks and have been happy with all.

Not sure how much it'd be for you..b ut I really like my swampfox kentucky long 2-12...i have two of them, and 3 of my friends run them too.... No complaints and a warranty comparable to vortex should something unfortunate happen.
