I am 60 years old. been shooting since I was 12 and reloading for 45 years. The Grendel is a great cartridge wrapped in confusion. I load for 20+ rounds, but this and the 458 SOCOM and 5.7X28 give the most challenge. Looking for knowledge.

Welcome to the forum Kenny Howard! Some of the things that crop up reloading the 6.5 Grendel is not full length sizing, bumping the shoulder back and case lubrication. Wax lube can cause issues and I use Dillon spray case lube or you can mix your own with lanolin and alcohol.

If a AR-15 is over gassed and out of time you can get brass that looks belted. Sometimes it can be the firearm causing the issue as much as the reloads.
