I second Montana's advice regarding reassembling the carrier. The key takes a lot of pressure blasts and needs to function flawlessly. It is not enough to glue the screws, as all glues weaken more or less with heat and pressure.

Never had any experience with the MOACK but have the Brownells version. It's only $77 but gouges a fair bit of steel coming in from the side, especially compared to manufacturer punches which come in from the top. You have to then file the key to get rid of the burrs caused by the thick staking screws. Their stakes are overkill but the screws are not coming loose after that. DIY staking will also take off the key's finish so you are left with shiny indents - not really an issue as it's only cosmetic and you don't see it when the carrier is inside the gun.

I also recommend using liquid gasket seal on the key before screwing and staking. Manufacturers should be doing this, but some don't.

What Klem said about sing a liquid gasket sealant. I've had to replace only one gas key & used this as a sealant between the key & the carrier...

Thanks to all the great minds who have taught this old dog
some new tricks. As soon as my new bolt arrives I'm going
to spec it out and do the modification suggested. Hopefully I dont have to shoot that many times again.
I dont think my Shoulder will take it.
