looking forward to learning and reading forum. Starting my first Grendel build. BA Hanson 12.5 barrel. got a decent deal on brand new barrel from a friend. Aero Build kit. I have heard that you should have matching bolt. NiB's complete big are hard to find for 6.5. I have a 5.56 nickel boron as an xtra bcg. Bolt is only difference? Anyone have or know where to get BA bolt if so?Seems everyone is out of stock. Going to look around forum today to check posts on builds and other info. Thanks for letting me in!

Welcome to the forum bullterrier391! Your BA Hansen barrel will work with any .136 bolt face depth 6.5 Grendel bolt referred to as Type II. I have several Monster Logo Millennium bolts sold by SizFiveArms and commonly referred to as group buy bolts. These bolts from SixFiveArms should become available soon but if your in a hurry you can buy Millennium brand bolts from Black Rifle Arms.
JSE Surplus had 6.5 Bolts recently and used to carry Alexander Arms bolts. JP 6.5 Grendel bolts and Maxim bolts also get good reviews.

Welcome to the clan, BT1, from the great nation of Texas! Finding parts ( even Grendel parts ) has become a dhallange. Supplies do seem to be catching up with demand so it is getting easier to find what you need. It has become my practice ( most of the time ) that when I find what I'm looking for, I get 2 of 'em. Oh, in case you've missed it in other threads, the Grendel is a free-breeder. That is to say, it propogates freely - put one in a dark place for a few weeks and soon there will be two. Put 'em both in a dark place and start looking for a bigger toy box.

Thanks, John my Wylde's have also been breeding. Passed on 300blk. Looking forward to the 6.5 Grendel. I have a funny feeling no water after midnight.
I have been in a lot of posts reading this forum is great. Have not been in load development or reloading section yet, but will be shortly.

If you haven't already done so, pick up copies of Vol's 1 and 2 of the Grendel Handbook, BFT usually has 'em available. Excellent info source on the care and feeding of Grendels.
