Finishing up my first Grendel build, below is what I got on it. I will mainly be using it for hogs I wouldnt think I will be shooting more than 200-250 yards and mostly 150 and in. Looked at the vortex crossfire II 3x9. Also would be open to any 1-6 or 2.5-10 stuff. Throw it at me. Looking to stay below $300-$400.
Aero Precision lower
Odin Works type 2 complete upper w/ 18 intermediate barrel
Larue tactical RAT stock
Magpul moe K-2 pistol grip

I grabbed a Vortex Viper PST Gen2 and love it. Its 1-6x. I got lucky and was able to grab a demo version.

I posted before but had some issues on the phone.
I have my build for HOg hunting out to about 300 yrds. I was directed towards this.
Vortex Viper PST Gen 2. It's $100 cheaper than normal due it being a demo, and from what I read/heard, Vortex has pretty good CS rep.

Is scopelist a reputable company? Ive heard rumblings good and bad throughout the years. Possibly owned or ran by eurooptics? Just cant seem to find a ton on the company itself

In my experience of three purchases, yes reputable and yes is the sister company to Euro-optics.

Went ahead and got the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24. For it for $329 so felt like a steal. Ill see how this performs on the pigs and maybe down the rod find something else.

I was going to go Strike Eagle but watched a vid showing where the reticle wasn't fully illuminated. So may want to check that out when you get the scope. I got my scope from Scopelist and had no issues.

Hope the Eagle works out for you as it was in your price point, the devil is in the details and some would rather have better glass and internals than a minimally useful illuminated reticle.

I just recently purchased the Burris fullfield IV with the illuminated E3 reticle its a 2.5 - 10 x 42
