JT Distributing Kits? Any good?

wanting to get a 6.5 grendel...but for my first adventure into the world of the 6.5 I don't want to go all out and break the bank. I'm thinking about getting the 20 inch heavy barrel profile(not the bull barrel)....Are there kits worth buying? Who makes their barrels? what type of accuracy should i expect? any help will be appreciated.....

I have a kit on order from J&T (the 24" Bull barrel) It will be about 3 weeks or so before I get it, they are waiting on bolts to come in. From What I understand J&T "Double Star" quality is on par with Bushmaster, RRA, Stag, DPMS, Reminington and Smith & Wesson. The barrels that J&T or "Double Star" use in their kits are from E.R. Shaw. The members of this forum, that own a J&T rifle, seem to be pleased. I hope to see them share their experiences with us in this thread!!

I believe that the 24" stainless bull barrels are made by Wilson?? Don't know for sure but what I understand. I have the 24" bull barreled upper. The others are Shaw's. Call them to be sure.

When I called in my order, I was told that the barrels were from E.R. Shaw. rg1, Does your barrel say Wilson on it? When I ordered my .223 kit from M&A parts, the barrel had "Wilson Combat 1-8" etched into it.
