So happy to say I finally got a sub MOA Group out of my little budget grendel pistol. Had to re work my load about tree times but tho k I finally found the sweet spot. I'm really sure the group could have been better but still try I g to get used to shooting this little guy compare to my actual rifles. I swear if you don't grip it right it slings rounds all over the place lol. Thinking a lighter trigger and more practice will help.

What I have found with my 12.5 and 12 inch is to bag the rifle just infront of the barrel nut really helps settle it down.
I'm useing 7 inch aero atlas s-one handguards, so I don't have alot of space for bagging the rifle out front. Plus I'm useing a ssa-e trigger in both of them.
I've noticed the same thing shooting off odd surfaces with a Weibad mini fortune cookie. For surfaces that don't allow that and using a flat bag I need to get the bipod further forward than my current 10" handguard allows. Going to try a Magpul cantilever adapter first and failing that I will switch to a 12" rail (12.5" barrel).
As of last weekend shooting off a cable spool is my nemesis.
I've been able to get sub-MOA groups out of these as well but they've required complete rebuilds to do so. The manner in which these are assembled at the factory leaves a little to be desired in the precision department. They're capable of more than you generally get out of the box but it takes a little effort to get there.
I concur with rebby. I bought the same SS 12" upper the OP pictured. While I was installing a KVP linear comp, the barrel sort of popped free a bit at the barrel nut and had a wiggle to it. Like it was tightened down at a slight angle or something.
After reassembling it properly, I was able to get sub MOA groups with handloads.
