I just found out there is a pistol named Grendel.

I believe these were made by the predecessor of Kel tec. they also made a .22mag pistol with a 30rd mag.

The first shot never jams. Maybe Zim should’ve emptied out the clip in ol Traytray to see if it really is a jamomatic. LOL!

I finally broke down and got a Kel-Tec PMR-30. It has been almost flawless, and that’s running the cheapest ArmsCor 40 JHP I had laying around for a 22WMR Rifle I have. About 500 rounds through it and It keeps impressing me. The trigger is surprisingly good and the accuracy is unbelievable with the ArmsCor. Off hand, hitting rocks on a bank at 100 yds way more than I ever should or tight misses all around them. Let a friend run it at the range for an hour or so because he was thinking about one. He tried a dozen different brands, weights, etc, and I think only two, didn’t shoot well of had feeding/ejection isssues.

Having said that, I agree, I would NOT carry this or any other Kel-Tec for self defense either. This a lightweight, plinking pistol, backup feral dog medicine, entertainment.

Self defense? Glock 19 for me, thank you very much!

The P-12 was gen 2, gen 1 was the P-10, it featured an internal magazine and was loaded using a tool that holds a stripper clip of rounds. They both use a clockwork spring to drive the hammer that is prone to breakage if dry fired. For a .380 it's a very uncomfortable pistol to fire, I know as I own a P-11. I bought because it is unusual and I can honestly say I have a pistol that uses a clip and not a magazine.
