My 12.5 Grendel pistol build

I don't post much on internet forums, but I thought this build was worth sharing. I've shot 80 rounds so for, no malfunctions and my groups are under 1 MOA with 123 Hornady AMAX and 100 Lapua Scenar handloads.

I bought the scope on sale with the QD mount included for around $320. Overall, I like it better than my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8. Good glass and holds zero, well worth the price.

It's a Venom Defense linear comp 5/8 x 24 thread. Works as advertised, deflects muzzle blast and concussion forward & only weighs 2.2 oz.

I ordered one (Xp8) yesterday, had been considering it and you pushed me over the edge. Current RT-6 is nice but wasn't expecting 250-300 yards out of my 12.5" Grendel but man it's easy peesy and can use the extra 2X. Loving mine.

Great choice for a short barrel Grendel, I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Ya know... No disrespect to anyone else but AR Pistols are getting to look really cookie-cutter (I have one myself) but THAT is one cool looking build man. It looks unique, it looks stout and bespoke/custom. Hopefully it shoots as well as it looks and isn't a tank but it looks beautiful man. Awesome work mate.

Edit: Noticed the XP8. I've had two for a while (plus an FFP XP6), one is kind of a testing scope for various AR's the other lives on my go-to 7.62x39 AK and I really like these scopes. SO much so I'm contemplating trying out the 1-10 "X". Cool to see someone else running this glass, I really think they have potential as a company if they kinda follow in PA's footsteps and build things that people are asking for. They're made in the same factory as Primary Arms and they're every bit as durable, I've proven that.

I finally got out to see how it shoots. Hornady American Gunner ammo, 15 shot 50 yd groups, shot from bench with bipod. I need to figure out a better way to shot this pistol from the bench before I try handholds at longer distances. It doesn't fit my shooting rest well, I'll probably try sandbags.
