Fun day at the range today testing out my new Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Grendel.
My hand loads all use Hornady brass, fire forming, CCI 450 primer
100 yards, sandbags front and back shooting off a bench.

Hornady Black, 123 Eld-M Factory 4 rounds = 1.600 *two normal rounds, two damaged by stove pipes in BCA Grendel.

Barnaul 100 fmj 2 rounds = .595
I used 8 rounds of the Barnual to sight in and do the initial barrel breaking in at 25 yards.
The last 2 rounds I started my 100 yard session. I thought I would never buy another box but maybe one more to see what they will do in the RAP.
Biggest surprise was the best group of the session was the 140 Speer Hot Core and Power Pro Varmint.
Second place surprise was Factory Black giving 2500+ in a 22 inch barrel
Range conditions: Sunny, 70 degrees, very light to no wind. Last groups shot after sundown.
