Looking for suggestions on what would cause a ba Hanson 16" MLGS 6.5 grendel to cycle all rounds but, the bcg hangs up on the last shot. GB is nonadjustable and drilled and pinned at factory. Gas port measured .060"
so after changing out mags the bcg rides over first round because not in the most rearward position.
Is this just wear in lube issue? Less then 50 rounds on it. Tried e lander and cproducts 10 round mags.

Sounds under gassed. .060” sounds way small for a 16” MLGS. Pretty sure you should have a ~.078 ish port on that pipe. Maybe .076.

Ballistic Advantage is know to have smaller ports,... but it's just on last round, cycles 1-5 then doesn't throw bolt all the way back.

Rough interior on the receiver extension? Non-standard spring or buffer weight?

Gas port is to small. Drill it out, reassemble and enjoy your rifle.

And while you have it apart, snatch up an adjustable gas block.
Don't forget to slide a 1/4" dowel down the bore before drilling, go slow and easy.

16" MLGS should have a .076" port.
A .060" port would be for a dedicated suppressed configuration.
