Build with hunting and range in mind. Not build with weight as a main consideration, coming in at 9.8Lbs with 5 in the mag. drops to 7.7Lbs if I remove the scope and mount. May consider switching to red dot for walking in the woods once my finances are replenished.

Nice all-around setup, those FFP scopes can be a beast weighing in at 27oz, still manageable though.

Very nice. I built an all out light weight build. If you want to cut weight in the future the optic, handguard, and stock are good places to do it.

It's by far the heaviest scope I've ever had. Long term I think it's destined to be a range and stationary hunting optic. I don't put on too many miles at any one time as it is, so I don't expect it to be an issue.

I do like how the subtensions all but disappear at the lowest magnification, given a nice traditional crosshair look for close up shots. I was worried the Christmas tree reticle would be too busy, but I have been really happy with it.
