I ordered my upper receiver from AA and now I am searching for a barrel. AA is out of stock and I'm not sure when they will have them back in. I'm looking to spend no more than $550-$600 for the barrel and bolt. Do you guys recommend a supplier that can get me a barrel relatively quick? I don't mind waiting a little while, but I want a good barrel.

loki uses satern and mcgowen ...that gives you two of the best in the industry for your choosing

Lothar Walther barres are not cut, they are button. The do shoot very nicely.

I'm seriously looking at Templer Custom. http://templarcustom.com/ His barrels are getting good reviews, and he answered my email inquiry on a weekend. I believe I read he is using Bartlein blanks, but I am not positive, as I didn't ask.

Let us know how it shoots with 123gr Hornady AMAX factory loads. Looks like a decent barrel.
As to Templar, yes, they are using Bartlein blanks, and had a bunch that were progressive-rifled.
