I spent the afternoon cutting some foam (after the much more difficult lay out) and Madam Grendel and her companion 223 are ready for the range.

Nicely done. I just bought a new rifle case and something like this is on my holiday vacation project list.

snell, how did you cut the foam so that the edges look so neat and clean?

The infamous electric knife. I picked up a cheap one and as long as you take your time the lines come out Okay. The knife really wants to cut and you can get way off line if your are not careful. Lay out the object, use a small marker to trace the outline (remember to make the lines tight to the object) then cut away slowly.
