ALG Defense Rail Colir

I recently picked up a DDC & GREY ALG Defense rail and the colirs are more similar than one would imagine. The I understood the risk of DDC but figured I would have a better chance at hitting in the light brown/gold (I am in Phx, Az and the desert out here is more the light brown/gold mix - the DDC Rail I received is dark brown, or a mud color. The Grey rail I received is very dark grey, not any resemblance to either ALG Defense or Geisselle's pics. To be honest, I could have ordered black and not really been disappointed. Anybody else have these issues? FWIW I have "Gold" anodized items and the difference is significant.
