Grendel Mag Idea??

It seems no manufacture can get an AR mag in 7.62x39, 6.5 G, or 5.45x39 in a high capacity mag to work in an AR.

I have 10 CProducts 30 rd 7.62x39 mags that work perfectly. One of them is one I bought a month or so back from Midway marked AR Stoner.

I think I'm up to 9, plus a couple of the 17 rounders. All have been flawless. Bought at various times between late 2008 and mid-2011

My C-Products 25 rounders have also worked flawlessly.... although i admit that i have only loaded 20 rounds at a time so far....

Tooling is progressing – we have prototype halves arriving before the holiday that will be moving into weld before our annual shutdown. Live fire testing is scheduled for late the week of Jan 2nd and we will move forward from there.

Unfortunately this isn’t moving as fast as we’d (and I am sure the end users) would like to see. We had some unforeseen delays when revising the tooling that ended up costing us almost 4 additional weeks.

Presumably that also applies to D&H 6.5 Grendel mags.

FWIW, a lot of the LEOs we do business with come in with ARs that have D&H mags in them. The ones I looked closely at were the best quality AR mags I've ever seen in terms of fit and finish. Very precise looking workmanship.

Stan, last year in Nov. I saw a post about D&H, maybe making mags. Grendelizer posted it on m4carbine ..... so, maybe it will finally happen. Bwaites claims there may be 1-2 more mag. co.'s- making mags. soon. . We all wait patiently., that's all we can do.
