Just bought an Eotech 512.... Question;

Just got my Eotech yesterday. Its very nice but i do have a question to those who may know for a fact: If i take the Eotech off my flat top receiver rail, will it still be zeroed when i return it there?

If off, how much is normal. Thanks

i would think it would hold zero if you but back in the exact same spot on the rail?

They generally are within 1-2 MOA, in my experiences with them. If you tighten down the bolt the same each time, or use a LaRue Eotech base, you'll be on.

I use mine with popup iron sites. When I put it back on, I check to see if it is still aligned with them.

I check mine against the lazer I have mounted
That works well too

Edited to add: This is on a 5.56 with a short barrel with pinned on brake

As short as legaly allowed that is why the lazer in on this set up

I also zero my Red Dot Sights with my irons, after irons are zeroed. It's a great way to get a close zero without shooting, as long as the irons stay zeroed.
