Having shot this weapon a year and a half ago, I can say that the article captures the nuances of this fine weapon system quite nicely, warts and all. I only wish they'd invested more ink on a range report.

That gun is one of the four original rifles off the production line. Been doing quite a bit of detail work since then.

I wish they had gotten back to me before they finished that article. I changed the stock design nearly a year ago for the very reason they state. Also been doing an immense amount of work on the chamber set up. The 338 Lapua is a tricky beast and shares a lot of attributes with the Grendel. Not least of which is that the chamber set up eclipses everything else in obtaining accuracy assuming the barrel is half decent. Think you could just about crown one with a blunt chisel and it would shoot. Needless to say we now know much more about the gun and can get better accuracy out of them these days.

Also wish they would note we run the gun without a monster muzzle brake, just a flash hider, that follow up shots are fast and it eats any and all 338 Lapua specification ammunition.
