Yeah I'm going to have to get that tripod as well. Looks like it's actually a pretty good deal for the quality and versatility.
How are you liking that mako G shock? I have 7 lowers to build out and I'm considering buying them. I also kinda like the hogues. But I like the recoil reduction feature. At least the idea of it anyway Do you find it works for that purpose well?
How's the length if pull on that grip? Looks great but looks like a long trigger reach my fingers are kinda short ;(

Lol snow giraffe pattern...I love it. It's called kryptek or cryptek something like that. You can YouTube how to do it it's not too hard and the stencils are available on line. There's a good channel that shows how do do different patterns. It's the equipment that's tough to come by. But this is a fine example of why superior work is done by people themselves who know what they are doing and can take as much time to do it right! Thanks for sharing and letting us all live vicariously through you. Bravo!

I know this isn't a super long range optic (and there certainly isn't ANHTHING wrong with yours) but these are wicked cool if you haven't seen them. I got to try one out for size at the northwest shooting sports expo it blew my socks off and haven't been able to keep them on since...looks like you're a luepold fan as well and the quality would match your rig and save some weight. Looks a little goofy but the concept is miraculous going to revolutionize the industry eventually I bet and warfare optics. 'nough said:

Morning guys. I'm working on my newest abomination at the moment, and I've got some ideas that I'm not sure the best way to implement. First the rifle.

Anderson matched receiver set
Vector optics 15" skeleton Free float key-mod hand-guard with steel barrel nut.
Cryptic Coatings Toolcraft BCG coated Mystic Black with proper 6.5 Grendel extractor.
Mil-spec buffer tube, with JP captive buffer spring and hydro buffer.
The barrel is on its way. Its a Krieger Varmatch, 26 inch, threaded 3/4-24tpi.
Ive got a JP .936 low-profile adjustable gas block to go on it and I'm working on a muzzle brake design that I think is going to be a home run.







If I can get this Muzzle break I'm working on finalized, I'm going to try having it machined by a pro. Soft metal will make it easier to do, but hard metal will be more durable. While wold be better, 6061, 7075, 304 stainless, or 416 stainless. I have all four. I normally use 6061, because its easy for me to machine on my little lathe.

Also, Ive seen JP's thermal dissipators for small contour barrels. Id like to have one for this Krieger barrel, but they don't make a one inch version. Has anyone else seen a larger version of it or am I going to have to make one out of copper bar store.

Last, does anyone have a Nightforce C556 FFP scope? How do you like it?
