Guys, for those who want a handy size barrel in a cartridge that blows a similar barrel-length AK-47 out of the water, we're offering, as a Forum Fundraiser, Alexander Arms bead-blasted 16" barrel and bolt combo kits.
Here are the specs from AA's website: Stainless steel 1 in 8 twist, 6 groove button rifled barrel. Medium M4 type profile without grenade groove. 0.730" under hand guards. 0.750" gas block diameter with the gas port drilled. Threaded barrel with 9/16-24tpi. Extended feed ramps and Grendel® bolt assembly. Weight of barrel is 1.86lbs. Requires mid length gas tube and hand guards.
