I am planing on building a 6.5 grendel SPR build and i have every thing picked out except for the barrel.
I was looking at this

For that price you could try SaternCustommachining.com they have a few 18 inch barrels on there website right now. And those are cut rifled barrels. Im pretty sure the sabre defence barrel your looking at is a button rifled barrel. You might also try black hole weaponry. In short my answer would be no dont buy that barrel for that price. While it is a good barrel thats kind of high for a sabre barrel. Im sure some of the other guys got some good info for you as well

I remember a bunch of people having problems with accuracy with the Sabre barrels before. I would also recommend getting a quality cut-rifled barrel for that price, with the bolt.

Cool the plan is to use a cav15 lower(I like the lop) a pri delta tube gissel two stage and a good 18in barrel to make a nice little rifle good for mid range shooting and hunting

I've shot them both. I prefer a standard trigger profile in the AR, but the Geissele with the straight cut and angles on the top and bottom isn't too bad. I have a Geissele in my .260 AR10, and was just shooting with it yesterday. I shot several .34-.4 MOA 5-round groups yesterday, but I attribute that to the Bartlein barrel I have, my reloading components, etc. It's their "cheap" model that I got for $170, and it's a beautiful 2-stage trigger. I wouldn't look elsewhere for a 2-stage right now, since they EDM cut their triggers and hammers. The 2nd stage breaks crisply like no other that I have shot in an AR at least.
