I had a request in for a spare bolt. She called me today and they are shipping today. They are happy with the new bolt provider
I asked about back orders and she stated that the guys were making barrels like crazy but were starting to catch up. The focus will move to 20" and 24" barrells.

Mid May they told me they are running a large run of 20" barrels then will move to the 22" and 24" late spring/early summer. I hate waiting.

Buy a Bartlein cut rifled barrel from precision firearms they are jus as good if not better an yo will wait les time for it to be shipped.

If had to do it all over again I'd buy the bartlien. My satern 5R barrel shoots great but I had to have mark at precision firearms fix it. $460 for barrel + another$65 or $70 and shipping to have the throat fixed.

I've had a Satern 22" on order since last August. They just e-mailed me today saying that the 20" run is winding down and they are moving to 24" barrels since they have so many 24's on order. This is after I was told it would for sure be done last month after they ran the 20's. It's funny that I've requested several times in the last couple months on when it'd be done and they never gave me a straight answer, yet they told the OP 3 wks ago what I just got e-mailed today??? They said 8 to 11 months when I ordered, so still waiting... If it goes past 11 mos, I'm gonna say screw it and build another bolt gun before deer season gets here.

Man, just contact Mark at PF or Dan at Lilja. They'll set you up in no time.

Thanks, I would but the Bartlein w/ similar options runs $840 + . The Lija comes in around $600 w/o bolt. I'm still under $600 fluted, bead blasted, and threaded in the profile I want with the bolt included with Satern. They are super nice people IF you can get them on the phone. They've kinda given me the run around. I can buy a Remington Sendero for what I'm gonna have in the upper alone. See where I'm coming from?

I suppose I should be getting a call from them as I placed an order for a 20" last year.

On week 11 waiting for 24" Bartlien from Mark at PF. Site says 6-8 weeks. Wish Mark would get mine done before going on vacation (joke) next time.

24" Barrel with BCG. Placing on AA upper and lower, with mostly magpul hardware. All I need is hand gaurd. Would like to go AP Custom 15" fiber

Just barrel . A full upper takes about an hour to put together ,nothing compared to making a barrel.

Satern's are worth the wait, I love mine. Mine is a custom profile and it really didnt take long. 18" Custom Profile to fit an Ops Inc 12th Model Suppressor.
