My Grendel and Her First Kill - jettubby - 07-04-2011 Built this rifle about 2 years ago. First deer kill with it last Nov. Different scope than the one pictured. It was a 150yrd shot. The deer was shot at the dark spot (pictured) on the ground and didn't go far. The lungs and heart were shredded. The Hornady 123gr splintered and did a tremendous amount of damage. Bottom line; the Grendel is an exceptional hunting round in my humble opinion. ![]() ![]() ![]()
