I'm going to try and post a link for you guys it's a nice read with a short video. the WW2 Sniper managed to get a 5" group at 1000 yards. Unfortunately he wasn't using a 6.5 grendel but I thought you all still might enjoy it.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed that, It's nice to see the Infantry community recognize an old veteran. You can really tell that it made Ted Gundy's day.

I knew and worked with many WW2 vets in my life and most of them are gone now. Like the lives they lived, they were very modest and humble who didn't brag or boast about their experience in WW2. They were a different breed who valued life and lived it with all the grace and dignity that made me proud to be part of a nation that created them. They will be sorely missed.

I couldn't agree more with you. I just read another good one about a sailor in pearl harbor that I thought was an amazing tribute of respect given to the greatest generation. this is another story of an amazing individual who was as humble as they come. I am thrilled that this stuff is happening given the military's latest op tempo.
