I got a call from a old mate saying the the Kullers were coming through the Forestery block next door so we had better have a look over his farm to get what we could before we miss out.
After a 4 hour drive I arrived unloaded the truck and checked the Night sight which I had just put back on my 20".
The wind for once was in our favor so we headed off at about 21.00 there was plenty of stars and no moon.
We don't use spotlights just a thermal camera we have found that any light or sound and we see nothing.
We were checking out the last area and found 2 Red spikers feeding. As I was about to shoot my mate turned on his Laser Genetics green Laser and the Deer just bolted. I managed to get the first one as he ran down the fence line and the other one stoped to see where his mate was I shot him the same time as my mate did with his Blackout.
The first one the 123g Amax hit him at the base of the neck and dropped him on the spot the second Deer both the Amax and the Blackout went straight through.
I only recovered the copper case from the first deer, all mangled did its job well.[ATTACH=CONFIG]3821[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]3820[/ATTACH]

Very nice. Gotta love the Grendel on deer size game. What's the approximate weight on these animals? Thanks for the report.
