Look, we all know that the BEST way (constitutionally) is to not do gun control. However we have an educated population, who sees themselves as progressive (feminist/metrosexual/environmentalist) that dislikes guns and fears the violence within their own souls.
So how do you introduce a "poison pill" that makes gun control distasteful to democrats? A poison pill is a legal tactic (evil lawyers invented it in order to keep others from doing something like buying a company) that makes something so expensive that no one would want to attempt the activity.
What do democrats dislike? Disfranchisement of their voters. (BTW, I am not even suggesting that we do this, only offering as a possibility) Thus if we had laws that mandated that if you lose your gun rights (felonies, mental illness, misdomeaner domestic battery) then you lose your right to vote that would but dems off. If they wanted their voters to have their rights then they would have to allow them to own guns. And to make even more distasteful, if you lose your gun rights then you can not be a professional (lawyer, doctor, CPA, teacher, Pharmacist, Veterinarian, etc) because if you can not be trusted with a gun then why should you be trusted teach or do medical work, handle drugs, and so forth.
Yes, that may not be as we see that the world should be. But it would make the democrats dislike gun control. Too many of them would become second class citizens.
Just a thought, not a proposal. We would not even have to get this made into law. Just write letters to the editor demanding it.
And maybe we should demand that the act of trying to purchase a gun, going through a background check, should be a crime for anyone denied a gun. Again it effects democrats far worst than it does us.
All we have to do is make it seem like we want it. We just want to mess with the minds of the leftwing freaks.

I have recently friended an old football coach from my youth on Facebook and its amazing how cool and smart this man wws when I was a teenager and how stupid he is now that I became a man. To semi quote Mark Twain. I can tell him, show him or refer him to truths and if Obama or his Lackeys didnt say it, he wont believe it. Libtards describes this man perfectly.
