These are heavy walled uppers that are good for your longer barrels that put more stress on the receiver. They don't stay in stock long.

Never mind............. it went out of stock within 8 minutes of me getting an email notification. If you want one sign up for their email notify. The came and went two weeks ago so maybe they will restock again soon.
Another tip, make sure you are pre-registered with any site you are trying to snag a part from. I usually login into sites that I expect to get stock when I get to work so I can jump right on something that might pop up later in the day.

I've got a Vltor upper on my 458SOCOM build... Its a nice beefy unit but probably overkill for a 16" barrel. Something to keep in mind it a standard AR15 clam-shell upper receiver block will not work with them.
