The folks on Arfcom are helping each other out. I've never recieved one of their certificates for the reduced rate on memberships (dunno how?), but those that do are passing it on! Now is the time!

However...if you are a member already, you can go to http://www.NRA-2013.org and get the $300 offer for family/friends (just login and select continue a couple of times)
NOTE: Available only to friends and family members who are not current members of the NRA.

ETA: I'm not going to charge anything or otherwise make a dime, so I don't think this constitutes a "sale"? I'm thinking here in the 2A room would be more appropriate anyway? What sayeth the board gods?

Make sure you speak to the life member department, it make take a call or two, It took me 2 phone calls to get them to do it. If life member services won't do it (at extension 3), try extension 2, some people have had luck with them."

Back in 08 they actual gave one year memberships away free to get their numbers up
