I have never heard of a 6.5 Grendel bolt action. Are you sure it exists? I have an 6.5 upper with a side charging handle, but I've never heard of a bolt action one, I would be interested if you find one or show me what your talking about.

There are those who have rebarrelled bolt rifles for the Grendel, often on the CZ527 or the Mini Mauser or any number of other short actions. Not factory rifles produced yet but rebarrels have been done for a while.

There are at least 2 of us here that are currently in the process of converting a CZ 527 from the factory chamber of 7.62x39 to 6.5 Grendel. The problem is its a long wait to get the barrels from McGowen cut to your specs. They quoted me 16 to 20 weeks. CSS has barrels in stock, but not the contour or length that I am looking for.

I've built two bolt action 6.5 Grendels, one a light weight hunter on a Remington model 7 with a McMillan ultralight edge stock the other one is at the far end of the spectum, a Stolle panda with a heavy Krieger barrel and McMillan Anshutz Prone stock.
