Was surfing channels last night and stopped at Gun Talk while they were visiting with a Colt rep on new items upcoming. Seems sometime this fall they'll have a 6.5 Grendel and 300 Whisper to offer in their lineup. Anyone else able to confirm same from a source other than Gun Talk? Maybe the SAAMI standardization will incite other maker to riot as well. Gotta be good for us, if so.

I would be shocked if the put out a 300 whisper probably going to be a 300 black out which is honestly better jd jones has not let anyone put his whisper into an ar other than him such that I am aware black out has a looser neck which is better than whisper especially in an auto the whisper was initially formed from the 221 and most everyone uses 223 brass as it is much stronger and more plentiful but you get a thicker neck when making brass from 223 which can be a problem if you have a true whisper chamber

In January I orderd a bunch of their new Ar platforms that are supposed to be able to convert between 5.56 and .308. Guess how many of them we've seen ? ZERO! ALso the new production of the mustang in .380 we've got one of those. So with that being said I would guess a Grendel and a 300 blackout will be like in the rumor mill for quite awhile till there is enough to trickle down to the dealers. I personally would have more faith in see a Unicorn in 2013 than either of those calibers given their past production records.
