My first 6.5 grendel build - Deathstroke - 09-26-2011 It is heavier than I thought. I think it will be very stable to hold because of that. Only shot it a couple times. I don't have a comparison with out the stock but out of 30-30 and 12 gauge even light loads recoil seemed very light
