specs: lower noveske n6
upper ops-4 right hand side charge
prs stock and accushot monopod, harris bi-pod
satern .264lbc barrel, wci muzzle brake
troy 15" alpha rail and gas block
nightforce nxs 3.5-15 mildot in larue lt158
rra 2 stage match trigger (which im soon dumping and ordering a gieselle)
So far its been a challenge to drive this gas gun to its full potential. I dont think Im anywhere the shooter this rifle demands, but Im getting better groups every range trip with handloads and lots of fundementals practice. Here are some 100 yard 5 shots during load development.

Very nice fire stick. Groups are great. The outlier is consistently to the left of a ragged hole. Try shooting without your charge handle and see what happens...

My build looks to be almost identical to yours. The only thing I have left to purchase are the monopod and bipod. Which height monopod did you get? Also, what height is the bipod?

LRRPF52 are you talking about the side charge handle? This upper doesn't have a tradition charge handle at the rear. I'm thinking I'm either jerking the trigger or "wishing" my last shots in LOL!

The mono is 3.75-5 I believe and the bipod is 6-9. The mono takes some getting used to. I've actually found that gripping it with my off hand and letting the magpul grip rest firmly against my forearm works great for me.

@Jeff I joined this forum to learn about the 6.5 and the first thread I come across in a search is yours. Last week I ordered a complete upper from largrizzley the ops4hunter cause it was what I could afford. I am planning on changing it over to the 6.5 are there any tips you could give me? Things I need to get such as bolt, ect? My lower is kinda a cheap one but hey its all I have for the time being. Also I know the nf exiles are high. What's your opinion on millet?

Yotehunter you are going to need a barrel and head spaced bolt along with a magazine. Ive never gotten behind a millet but Ive read good and bad reviews on them. I would suggest looking through one and judging it for yourself. I like the clarity and the crisp resolution of the NF and it helps my poor eyesight out a lot!

Thanks for the advice Jeff. And suggestions on companys to use for the bolt and barrel. As for the scope. Between now and my last post I think I may have jipped my brother out of his nightforce because he is going to a us optics.

He is. The side charging handle unbalances the bolt carrier group a tiny bit. It may or may not make a difference on any given build, but its worth a try. You don't have a lot of option, though, if you have no traditional charge handle.
The Geiselle trigger will make a HUGE difference. I installed the National Match Trigger in my 28" Grendel prior to Boomershoot, and its a true joy to shoot.

Yotehunter as far as barrels go I would say go with a manufacturer with a good track record of accurate products and good customer service. Just be prepared to wait anywhere from 6-20 weeks for a quality barrel.

I have SSA and SSA-E. I prefer the -E for bench and deer stand rifle but the SSA for stalk/home defense gun. There is about 1-1.5 lb pull difference.

Well the geissele SSA-E went in this weekend and I have to say Im very impressed! It looks like it took care of my 5th shot flyers LOL!

Nice group and sweet build. I have a Geissele SSA-E that's going in my latest Grendel build. They're outstanding triggers. I also have the Super SCAR in my SCAR 16S. Bill Geissele has his stuff together when it comes to triggers.

Yea It's a big step up from the RRA nm 2 stage I had. Wanted to say thanks for your vids on your channel man. They helped spark my interest of the cartridge and its capabilities!
