Can anyone confirm if the loaded ammo Federal Fusion and Nosler Accubond Long Range have been discontinued by the manufacturer?

I havent seen or heard of either load being discontinued. Grafs & Son have Nosler 129 grain ABLR ammo on sale. Still very expensive but I also recently saw Nolser 6.5 Grendel for sale on Midsouth Shooters supply. Federal doesnt manufacture 6.5 Grendel ammo very often and when it hits the market it sells out very fast. Its been quite awhile since any Federal with 90 grain TNT has been manufactured.

They both still exist in the respective catalogs. As a niche ammo they likely only produce it once or twice a year though.

Trying to order from a few places it says discontinued. Midwayusa is one of them, just tried to get some fusion and it says discontinued.

It'll come around eventually. They're slowly working through the Fusion catalog. For a few years there couldn't even find any 165 grain 30-06 Fusion which is what my Remingon 700 likes. Hoping they do another run of 6.5x55 Fusion in 156 grain in the not too distant future.

Nosler Trophy Grade 129gr ABLR 6.5 Grendel factory ammunition is made regularly.
I see it frequently on Noslers sites, including SPS.

All major manufacturers are worried about quarterly financials. You cannot run a major business and not worry about the financials, plain and simple. The making of ammunition is absolutely reliant upon finances that are summarized in the quarterly reports. The company and/or its parent will make a lot of decisions regarding the operation of the company based on the quarterly financials. There is just no way to get away from that.
As for making "woke Wall Street investors happy," probably not a lot of woke people invest in gun stuff. So the folks at federal would have worried about their regular investors, as does the current owner, Vista, and future owner CSG, who has publicly traded shares as well, but in Prague.
It is sort of a frying pan/fire sort of issue, especially when ownership is transferred overseas.
There is no way to get away from the significance of bean counting.

Over 80% of Vista Outdoors shares are held by Institutional Investors - mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, etc. The people who work for them in NYC, Boston and Chicago are the ones who put their pronouns on business cards. Black Rock (everybody's favorite institutional investor) owns 15%. Yes, the king of ESG owns 15% of a company that makes assault rifle ammo. I'll take the sale as good news!
