Colt new 7.62x39 CR6762 - LRRPF52 - 10-04-2023
I thought this was interesting and would be interested to see if they used their old funded project data from the original 7.62x39 work done in the late 1980s.
Colt made a 7.62x39 Sporter II back in the day with an A2 upper, 16 barrel.

Once Colt introduced those, Hi-Power shooters took the bolts and chambered AR-15s in 6mm PPC. The rest is history...

I also was looking over a Ruger 450 Bushmaster in Sportsmans Warehouse today.
The bolt material appeared to be exotic, so I went to Rugers website looking for any clues on what it might be.
